At Fishtail Creek, located in the beautiful village of Moira in North Goa, we invite you to come explore another side of Goa. Away from the hustle and bustle of the regular tourist haunts, immerse yourself in Goa's pristine natural beauty and take in the splendour of its lush tropical riverine landscape. Discover stunning birds, butterflies, flowers, languid streams, quaint village lanes with charming Goan homes, and more.





OUR ROOMS
Our rooms are located in a cottage by the river and separate from the hosts' residence.
The cottage has two en-suite bedrooms with a common space for lounging, dining, and light cooking.

GETTING THERE & AROUND

From Dabolim Airport, Mopa Airport, and Thivim Railway Station:
We can have you picked up from Dabolim Airport, Mopa Airport, or Thivim Station by a reliable and reasonably priced vehicle with a friendly driver from our village who will drop you directly at Fishtail Creek without you having to worry about directions.
Getting Around:
We can organize taxis (including a woman driver for solo women travelers) and car/scooter rentals. We also have three e-cycles for you to explore the village and other nearby areas.

THINGS TO DO
Birding and Nature Interpretation
We are happy to equip you with binoculars and bird books for you to do some birding within the property, and add to our checklist of birds. We can also arrange a birding trip with our local experts.
Kayaking and River Trips
Kayaking trips with experienced guides are on offer at three different river systems. You can also take the two-person house kayak and discover the Moira river yourself.
Fishing Trips
Fishing trips to catch red snappers, giant trevalleys and barramundi, both in the rivers and the open sea are on offer. Free angling lessons are available for the uninitiated.
Jungle Hikes
We can suggest jungle hikes for you to discover the flora and fauna of the region with expert naturalists. After all, you are close to a biodiversity hotspot!
Local Food & Cultural History Tours
We can share with you a list of great places to savour the local food, bars with character, and also experience the rich cultural history of Goa.
Island Exploration
The slow, quaint life on the river islands are worth exploring, as one gets under the skin of what is essentially a unique Goan experience.
